Quick start guide

B2B Wholesale Pricing helps merchants create flexible and transparent pricing rules for bulk orders. This guide walks you through the setup process.

How to access

  1. Log in to your Genstore admin.
  2. In the left menu, go to Apps -> B2B Wholesale Pricing.
  3. If the app is not pinned to the left navigation, find it under the Installed list in the Apps page and click to open.

Create a wholesale pricing plan

Step 1: Add a new plan

On the app’s main page, click Create plan.

Fill in the following fields:

  1. Status: Decide whether the plan is active after saving.
    • Inactive → Save as draft, not applied.
    • Active → Will take effect immediately or at the scheduled time.
  2. Name: Enter a short title (up to 30 characters). The title will also appear on the cart and checkout pages.
  3. Markets: Choose whether the plan applies to all markets or selected markets.

Step 2: Add products

  1. In the Select product area, click Select products or Select collections.
  2. Each plan supports up to 100 products or 100 collections.
  3. When you add a product (SPU), all its variants (SKUs) are included automatically.

Step 3: Set tiered discounts

  1. In the Volume discount settings section, define:
    • Minimum quantity and maximum quantity
    • Discount type:
      • New unit price: Set the final wholesale price directly.
      • Percentage off: Enter a discount percentage (e.g., 10% = 10% off).
      • Amount off: Enter a fixed discount amount (minimum price is 0; no negative values).
  2. Click Add tier to create up to 5 tiers. Each tier can use a different discount type.
  3. The system ensures ranges are continuous (e.g., if one tier ends at 10, the next starts at 11).

Step 4: Other settings

  • Quantity step: Define how many units customers can increase or decrease at once in the storefront.
  • Effective date:
    • Leave blank → Effective immediately and valid indefinitely.
    • Set a date → Activate or end automatically at the scheduled time.
  • Column names: Customize the titles for the quantity and price columns.
  • Translations: Enable automatic display in the customer’s browsing language.
  • Style: In the Layout tab, customize table color, alignment, font, and size. Preview changes in real time.

Manage existing plans

  1. On the plan list page, you can view all created pricing plans.
  2. Use the following tools:
    • Search: Enter a plan name for fuzzy search.
    • Filter: Filter by status (all, active, scheduled, draft, ended).
    • Sort: Sort by creation date or last updated date.
  3. For each status, available actions include:
    • Active: Edit / Duplicate / Disable
    • Scheduled: Edit / Duplicate / Disable / Delete
    • Draft: Edit / Duplicate / Activate / Delete
    • Ended: Edit / Duplicate / Activate / Delete

Storefront display

  1. On product detail pages and standard product cards, customers will see a tiered pricing table.
  2. When the order quantity matches a tier, the wholesale price is applied automatically.
  3. If a product belongs to multiple plans, the system displays the most recently updated plan.
  4. In the cart, the best available wholesale price is applied automatically and recalculated by quantity.
